Product Description

The PYRAMID family of modified live virus vaccines are single-dose products providing broad coverage of bovine viral diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), parainfluenza-3 (PI3) and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), with options for various combinations dependent upon product. PYRAMID delivers enhanced efficacy with the help of the MetaStim® adjuvant system, enhancing the animal’s response to the vaccine for greater protection.

Features and Benefits

  • The PYRAMID family of vaccines provides broad coverage for BVD Types 1 and 2, IBR, BRSV and PI3 with only a single dose.  They contain the MetaStim® adjuvant system to maximize the animal’s response for greater protection.
  • PYRAMID vaccines are available in varying product combinations, including convenient combinations with 5-way lepto or Lepto pomona-hardjo protection.
  • Most products in the PYRAMID family contain both BVD Type 1 (Singer) and 2 (5912), which are specifically selected for broad BVD coverage. 
  • PYRAMID’s whole herd claim allows producers the flexibility to vaccinate pregnant cows, or calves nursing pregnant cows, if the cows were vacinated pre-breeding with PYRAMID 3, PYRAMID 5, or PYRAMID 10 product.

  • Annual revaccination required

Safety Information

  • A small percentage of animals may show transient mild injection site swelling.
  • Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
  • Burn container and all unused contents.
  • In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine.
  • Store in the dark at 35 - 45°F (2 - 7°C). Avoid freezing.
