Single dose.
Meets Beef Quality Assurance guidelines.
Eliminates damage resulting from IM administration.
Advantages
Alpha-7/MB-1 is a unique product providing proven protection for 7-way clostridia and Moraxella bovis (Pinkeye) with a single injection.
Dosage & Administration
Using aseptic technique inject a single 2 mL dose Sub-Q to cattle 2 months of age or older, prior to the onset of pinkeye season. Calves vaccinated under 3 months of age should be revaccinated at weaning or at 4-6 months of age. A 2 mL booster dose is recommended annually.
Precautions
Store at 35° - 45°F (2° - 7° C). Avoid freezing. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter. The use of a biological product in lactating dairy cattle can cause reduced milk production. Swelling at the injection site will
often occur and may persist. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote: Epinephrine.
Uses
Alpha-7/MB-1 is recommended for vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle, two months of age or older, as an aid in the reduction of diseases caused by Cl chauvoei, Cl septicum, Cl novyi, Cl sordellii, Cl perfringens Types C and D
toxins and Moraxella bovis. Immunity may be provided against the beta and epsilon toxins elaborated by Cl perfringens Type B. This immunity is derived from the combination of Type C (beta) and Type D (epsilon) fractions.
Warning
Animal inoculation only. Accidental injection in humans can cause serious local reactions. Contact a physician immediately if accidental injection occurs.
