Description
Bovine Rhinotracheitis-Virus Diarrhea-Parainfluenza3 -Respiratory Syncytial Virus Vaccine. Breed-Back¥ô FP 5 contains neomycin as a preservative.
Features
Contains IBR-BVD Types 1 & 2- PI3- BRSV.
Engineered to provide 90-99% protection against persistently infected (PI) calves due to BVD Types 1 & 2.
A controlled study showed 90-99% efficacy in preventing abortions due to BVD Type 2.
In controlled studies IBR, BVD Types 1 & 2, PI3, and BRSV did not shed.

Dosage & Administration
Using aseptic technique inject 2 mL Sub-Q. If initial vaccination repeat BRSV fraction in 14-28 days. Calves vaccinated before 6 months of age should be revaccinated at 6 months. A 2 mL booster dose is recommended annually.
Cows and heifers: Using aseptic technique, annually inject a single Store out of direct sunlight at a temperature between 35 - 45∞ F
(2 - 7∞ C). Avoid freezing. Use entire contents when first opened. Stressed cattle should not be vaccinated.
Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
Do not use in pregnant cows or in calves nursing pregnant cows. Burn vaccine container and all unused contents. Injection site swelling may occur. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur.
Antidote: Epinephrine.
2 mL dose Sub-Q 4-8 weeks prior to breeding. If initial dose, see above.

Uses
Breed-Back FP 5 is recommended for vaccination of healthy susceptible cattle as an aid in reduction of disease caused by
IBR, BVD Types 1 & 2, PI3, BRSV.
Non-pregnant females: Vaccination at 4-8 weeks prior to breeding aids in the prevention of PI calves due to BVD Types 1 & 2.
Warning
It is possible that healthy appearing cattle can be persistently infected with or incubating virulent BVD virus at time of vaccination. In view of these findings and suggested causes, BVD vaccine is contraindicated in PI cattle and use should be limited only to healthy, immunocompetent, unstressed, non-pregnant cattle. Animal inoculation only. Accidental injection to humans can cause serious local reactions. Contact a doctor immediately if accidental injection occurs.
