Description
Clostridium Perfringens Types C&D Toxoid. CaliberÆ 3 toxoid is prepared from chemically inactivated cultures of the above organisms.

Advantages
Caliber 3 is a low volume 2 mL Sub-Q administration clostridia vaccine. Caliber 3 is safe for use in all cattle and sheep.
Dosage & Administration
Using aseptic technique inject a 2 mL dose. Repeat in 21 to 28 days. A 2 mL booster dose is recommended annually.
Precautions
Store at 35∞ - 45∞ F (2∞ - 7∞ C). Avoid freezing. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur.
Antidote: Epinephrine.
Uses
Caliber 3 is recommended for vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle and sheep as an aid in the reduction of enterotoxemia caused by the toxins of Cl perfringens Types C and D. Although Cl perfringens Type B is not a significant problem in the USA, the combination of Cl perfringens Types C and D fractions may protect against enterotoxemia caused by Cl perfringens Types B.
Warning
Animal inoculation only. Accidental injection in humans can cause serious local reactions. Contact a physician immediately if accidental injection occurs.
