Enterisol® SC-54

Salmonella Choleraesuis Vaccine, Avirulent Live Culture

Enterisol® SC-54 is a safe, effective, convenient, one dose, live Salmonella choleraesuis vaccine. It is administered orally or intranasally (non-frozen only).

Enterisol® SC-54 is recommended for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible swine 3 weeks of age or older as an aid in the prevention of salmonellosis caused by Salmonella  choleraesuis. Can be used in conjunction with Reload Pack.™

Administer one dose via drinking water or intranasally (non-frozen only) to each pig.

Lyophilized Form – Rehydrate the vaccine by adding the full contents of the accompanying sterile diluent to the vaccine. Shake well and use entire contents immediately. The lyophilized form may be administered intranasally to pigs 1 day of age or older.

Frozen Form (FF) – Thaw vaccine under trickling cool water bath until liquid (usually 60 minutes). Shake well and use entire contents immediately. The frozen form may be administered orally to pigs 3 weeks of age or older.

Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. Do not use in pregnant swine or breeding boars. Do not use concurrently with antibiotics.

Lyophilized Form – Store at 35° – 45°F. Do not freeze. Use entire contents immediately after reconstitituting.

Frozen Form – Store at -70°C. Do not thaw until immediately prior to use. Use entire contents immediately after thawing. Do not refreeze.

In case of anaphylactoid reaction, epinephrine is symptomatic treatment.
