Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. Adds Kelsey Beamsley to its Equine Sales Team

Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc. (BIVI), a global leader in the animal health industry, today announced the company has hired Kelsey Beamsley as an equine sales representative serving the Gulf Coast region.

Beamsley is a 2012 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. Prior to joining BIVI, she spent the past four years as a pharmacy technician at the Texas Equine Hospital in Bryan, Texas.

“We are happy to welcome Kelsey to the BIVI Equine team,” said Bryan Toliver, senior associate director of equine sales. “As both a veterinary pharmacy technician and an equestrian, Kelsey’s knowledge of horses and her passion for them will make her an asset to our team and our customers.”

Beamsley is an accomplished horsewoman competing in all-around events through the American Paint Horse Association. In 2015, Beamsley attended the World Show for the first time where she and her horse, Zap My Zziple, received multiple awards including overall Reserve High Point Amateur Walk Trot champion.

For her new role, Beamsley and her husband, Andrew, will relocate from College Station, Texas, to Louisiana along with their two dogs, Wrangler, a Blue Heeler, and Lexi, a Chocolate Labrador retriever.

“Joining the Equine Team at BIVI is a wonderful opportunity for me to continue to grow my experience in animal health,” Beamsley said. “I am eager to learn even more about the BIVI product line and how these great products can support the good health of horses.”
