Boehringer Ingelheim Recognizes Three Dairy Producers for Judicious Use of Antibiotics

As part of the Producers for Progress Recognition Program, Boehringer Ingelheim is excited to commend three dairy producers who demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of animals, consumers and the industry through the judicious use of antibiotics.

Producers for Progress 2019 Winners:

Fischer-Clark Dairy Farm, Inc. – Hatley, Wisconsin

“Judicious antibiotic use for mastitis means preventing as many cases of mastitis as possible through good husbandry and comfort, vaccinations and parlor protocols.”
~ Heidi Fischer

Pagel Ponderosa Dairy – Kewaunee, Wisconsin

“It is important to be preventive, to reduce or cut down on health events by using a solid vaccine program. A solid vaccination program is one that has protection from diseases related to reproduction, respiratory, clostridia and E. coli mastitis.”
