FloraMax®-PW is a probiotic developed to support the enteric health of flocks through a unique combination of live microorganisms, Pediococcus acidilactici and Weissella confusa. These microorganisms were selected to increase the flora robustness, leading to a decrease of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) disorders in stress occasions and provide a higher prevention against and management of Salmonella.1

  • Production of antimicrobial substances: inhibits microorganisms or prevents their reproduction1
  • Competition for binding sites: probiotics occupy these sites so that pathogenic microorganisms cannot adhere to them1

  • Discontinue the use of disinfectants, antibiotics or other additives that may kill the microflora for 24 hours before and 24 hours after use of the product in the drinking water
  • Providing birds with acidified water prior to use of FloraMax-PW will enhance the delivery of beneficial microflora
  • Add the stock solution to the drinking water at a rate of 1 oz. per gallon over a period of 6-12 hours
  • Administer only as recommended
